Spring Break Mission Trip 2012

Colorado Mission Trip

Trip date March 10-18, 2012

We will leave the church main parking lot at 7:03AM on Saturday morning March 10^th. We plan to drive to Amarillo Texas and spend the night Students should eat breakfast before we leave. We should arrive in Denver around dinner time on Sunday March 11^th. Students will need spending money for 3 meals on the way to Denver and 4 meals on the way home from Denver.

While in Denver we will be staying at:

We will stay here from Sunday night March 11^th till Saturday morning March 17^th. Please talk with your student about how you expect them to act in public since they do represent you, me, the church, and Jesus.

Breakfast will be provided daily at the hotel and we will prepare most of our own lunches and dinners while on this trip.

On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Friday of our trip we will be involved cleaning and painting a church, leading a VBS type program in the evenings, and providing lunch and fellowship to the kids at Sox Place. On Friday night we will help provide a meal for a VBS open house and fellowship. On Wednesday of our trip we will spend some time having fun and seeing what Denver and nearby Colorado Springs has to offer.

On Saturday morning March 17^th we will leave the hotel at 7:03AM and begin our drive back to Texas. We will probably make it to Childress or Wichita Falls Texas before we stop for the night. We should arrive in Simonton around 6:00PM on Sunday March 18^th.

What to bring: Bible, Notebook, Pen or pencil, Personal hygiene products of your choice PLEASE, Comfortable shoes would be good.

Church appropriate/modest clothing…. Plan to dress in layers as it may be cold or warm at any given time.

Spending money for meals on the road and other things you may want to buy.
